Welcome to Mrs. Barbara Lacoss: Manchester ESL

We would like to welcome Barbara Lacoss to Manchester High, where she is serving as an ESL teacher on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Mrs. Lacoss has many years of experience working with International students and has worked overseas teaching ESL. She resides in Manchester and is orginally from Michigan. We are so fortunate to have her join our team!

Coffee and Conversation!!!! February 15, 2007

Thank you to all the students who joined us at Panera Bread in Manchester for some coffee and great conversation. If you want to practice your English this is a great place for you. We will meet again on Thursday, March 15, 2007 @ 7:30PM.










Upcoming Happenings for ESL Students

Saturday, March 24th- Dinner and a trip to the Capitol in Hartford
(Dinner at Angelo’s, then off to the capitol to observe high school students running for office and a private tour with state representative Claire Janowski)

Wednesday, April 11th- Old State House, Mock Trial followed by an interactive exhibit “History is All Around Us”

I hope that many of you will be able to join us for these upcoming activities.
I will be coming around with the flyers for both of these activities in early February.
